Privacy policy
This policy describes how Rose Federal Employee Advocates, a practice of DC Consumer Law Group, PLLC ("we," "us"), handles information collected through this website. Rose Federal Employee Advocates, a practice of DC Consumer Law Group, PLLC, is the entity responsible for the information you submit here. The policy is written to match how the site actually works, and we will update it if the site changes.
What we collect, and how
Contact form. If you submit our case evaluation form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and your summary of your situation. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical signals from your browser to distinguish people from bots; we do not receive those signals, only a pass/fail result.
Technical data. This site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and secure the site, as any host does. Our contact form endpoint also uses your IP address transiently for rate limiting; we do not store it. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across sites. This site sets no marketing or advertising cookies.
Where form submissions go
Form submissions are delivered to us as email, addressed to our intake mailbox. Delivery is handled by Cloudflare (or a transactional email provider acting on our instructions), which processes the message content in order to deliver it. Your submission is not stored in a database by this website; the email itself is the record.
How we use and retain it
We use contact form submissions for one purpose: evaluating whether we can help you, which includes running a conflict check. Intake emails are retained in our email system for one year and then deleted, unless you become a client (in which case your information is handled under our engagement agreement and professional responsibilities) or we are required to preserve it.
We do not sell personal information, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising. Ever.
Your choices
You can contact us without the form, by phone at (202) 521-4865 or email at intake@fedjoblaw.com. To ask what we hold about you or to request deletion of an inquiry that did not lead to representation, email us at intake@fedjoblaw.com.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, Turnstile bot protection, Web Analytics, and email routing. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it processes data as a service provider.
- Resend: transactional email delivery for contact form submissions. A submission is sent through Resend to our intake address; see Resend's privacy policy for how it processes data as a service provider.
Text messaging (SMS) privacy
If you provide your mobile number and opt in to text messages, we use it to send the messages described in our SMS Terms & Conditions below. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Your mobile number and text-messaging opt-in are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for their own marketing purposes. We share phone numbers only with the messaging service provider that delivers our texts, solely so it can deliver them.
SMS Terms & Conditions
By sending a text message to (202) 521-4865, or by otherwise agreeing in writing, you consent to receive text messages from Rose Federal Employee Advocates, a trade name of DC Consumer Law Group, PLLC, at that number. Consent is not a condition of receiving legal services.
Messages you may receive include responses to your inquiry, scheduling and reminders for consultations and meetings, requests for documents or information, deadline reminders, and updates about your matter. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation text and no further messages unless you opt in again.

Attorney advertising. This website is attorney advertising. It is provided for general information only and is not legal advice about any individual situation.
No attorney-client relationship. Using this website, including submitting the contact form, does not create an attorney-client relationship with Rose Federal Employee Advocates. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a signed engagement agreement, after a conflict check. Until then, do not send us confidential or privileged information.
Deadlines. Contacting us does not stop or extend any filing deadline. Federal-sector deadlines, including the 45-day EEO counselor contact window and the 30-day MSPB appeal window, continue to run until a filing is actually made.
Prior results. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every case depends on its own facts and law.
Jurisdictions. Our attorneys are admitted in the District of Columbia and Maryland; admissions vary by attorney and are listed on the attorneys page. Practice before federal agencies, the EEOC, and the MSPB is federal administrative practice that does not depend on admission in any particular state; where a matter requires court admission we appear only where admitted or by permission of the court.
